It's been awhile since I blessed the web with a picture of my daughter, so here's one taken last month. Beth figured out she can climb up into the rocking chair all by herself. Now she likes to get up in there and read stories.

She's gotten really into spontaneous displays of affection lately--kisses and hugs and blowing kisses. It melts my heart when she runs up to me and gives me a kiss. She even kisses her dolls and stuffed animals.

Yesterday the Hanna Andersson catalog came in the mail, and Beth loves to look through it. She doesn't realize that it's merchandise for sale--she just thinks it's a book of brightly colored clothes with lots of pictures of babies. "Baby! Hat! Shoe!" she exclaims as she flips through the pages. She even gave kisses to the babies in the catalog. She's just a sweetheart all around.
